Town of Urbana  ~ Parks and Recreation

The Town of Urbana has a wealth of year 'round recreational opportunities which include three public parks providing access to Keuka Lake, the Finger Lakes Trail system; and 3688 acres of public State Land.

2008 Summer Youth Learning and Recreation Program - "Go for the Gold"

Swimming Lessons:  Levels 1 - Vll, Youth and Tiny Tots, Lessons and supervised open swimming sessions.

Summer Learning Program:  Improve ELA and Math skills.
Summer Recreation Program:  Arts, Crafts, Games, Dance, Sign Language as well as educational field trips.
Evening Sports Program:  Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer

The Recreation Program is funded by The Town of Urbana, the Village of Hammondsport, The Hammondsport School District, and the Towns of Pulteney and Wayne.  The program also relies upon donations from local organizations, businesses and individuals.  If you wish to make a tax deductible donation please send it to: Dawn Hawley, Town of Urbana, PO box 186, Hammondsport NY  14840.  Please indicate that it is for the Recreational Trip Fund.
